The high-speed railway passenger hub is the key node of the urban passenger transport system network, which is the place where the city's external traffic and various modes of transportation within the city are scattered, transit and transferred.Economic development and the growth of disposable income have stimulated the passenger long-distance trips, which also have brought the steady growth of high-iron passenger traffic, and undoubtly induced the local congestion within the hub.The congestion phenomenon puts forward higher requirements to enhance the passenger hub service.Research on the passenger offsite transfer mode choice behavior, can provide decision support for the optimization of high-speed rail passenger hub and urban traffic, which improves passenger transfer efficiency.Firstly, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the high-speed railway passenger hub, urban traffic mode and transfer mode, this paper discusses passenger transfer behavior, transfer psychological demand of passengers, and the action mechanism between hub environment and transfer behavior.Besides, basic theory, method and common model of travel behavior analysis method are introduced, which lay the theoretical foundation for the research.Secondly, the factors influencing the selection of the transfer mode are systematically summarized from four aspects: personal characteristics, travel characteristics, transportation mode characteristics and hub environment characteristics. The hub environment characteristic variables, quantified by using the satisfaction degree and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),together with traditional characteristic variables, are used to construct the AHP-MNL model of passenger transfer mode choice. This AHP-MNL model overcomes the drawback of traditional model overlooking the hub characteristics, and the calibration and testing of the model are also described.Thirdly, the empirical research on Xi'an North Railway Station is carried out.According to the introduction of the hub transfer environmental satisfaction variable, three transfer mode choice models are constructed.Besides, the fitting results of the three models are compared and analyzed, which show that model two has better explanatory power and prediction precision. Finally,on the basis of the calibrating results of model two,the transfer mode choice behavior of offsite passengers in Xi'an North Railway Station are analyzed.By calculating the elastic value of the related variables, the hub transfer environmental satisfaction variables having grate effects on mode choice are chosen to analyze the mode sharing rate change before and after the optimization by the sensitivity analysis method.Above all, according to the existing problem of the hub, this paper puts forward the optimization measures to improve the hub transfer environment, which indirectly improves passenger satisfaction.
