Transmission as one of the most important part of power train,it's performance and durability affects the vehicle performance and fuel economy and reliability. As domestic transmission experiment increasingly use the method of simulation for road load, how to compose the load spectrum of real-road has become a indispensable link.In this paper,we use the rain-flow count method to process the load data based on the actual load data from the road in our country. Therefore,we can get the probability distribution of load and provide scientific basis for development and testing of the transmission.First of all, this paper analzes the background and significance of the research of load spectrum and the difference of transmission test at home and abroad we compared. Then,it studies and analyzes the transmission principle of fatigue damage and introduces methods of signal processing for data acquisition. In this paper,we choose the plan of collect proportion of the road and study the anti-jamming of the collecting system.Furthermore, according to the test program to complete the data collection of actual road load.Secondly, this paper mainly introduces and studies the load statistical method, the rain-flow count method. In this paper, the rain-flow counting method is used to program and process the data of MATLAB and the load distribution of the test vehicle 1-6 file is generated. Finally, this paper studied how to realize the method of establishing the load cycle for durability in lab conditions.Through the equivalent of the source data compression, peak value extraction and invalid loop out,we obtained typically the high, medium and low speed cycle. The cycle is used as a guide for the fatigue endurance test of the transmission, and the improvement of the traditional test bench is proposed.
