As an important development approach to perceive the emerging automotive active safety,automotive collision avoidance radar can effectively improve the road safety and reduce the incidence of accidents,the research on the collision avoidance radar system is of great realistic significance and wide application perspective.This issue "Research and Implementation of K band automotive anti-collision radar system" disuss forward automobile anti-collision radar system's function requirement,focusing on the implementation of radar system and radar receiver's signal processing method.The main works of this paper are listed as follows:1)The principle and parameters of the anti-collision radar system are analysed and calculated,through comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various system for vehicle collision avoidance applications,and ultimately determine the use of the sawtooth wave signal of linear frequency modulation(LFMCW)radar as the final working system.2)The measurement principles of LFMCW radar's range,velocity and angle based on the echo signal processing are studied.The Two-dimensional spectrum constant false alarm detection(CFAR)algorithm is discussed,and an efficient secure distance calculation model is introduced,and the validity and reliability of the algorithm are verified.3)The hardware platform design of the automotive collision avoidance radar system is conducted.Including the selection of RF front,the data acquisition module and data core processing module.The simulation and test on the design of the band-pass filter amplifier circuit are completed.Finally,the system power network is designed and implemented.4)The design and implementation of radar system software is completed.The overall flow of the system software is designed and the target echo acquisition and digital filtering is calculated based on the FPGA platform;Two-dimensional spectrum analysis algorithm,CFAR detection algorithm,safety distance calculating and vehicle driving state identification are implemented based on the DSP platform.And the function of system software and hardware debugging is carried out.5)Finally,the tests of actual highway scene for the application of automotive anti-collision radar are completed.The test results show that the automotive anti-collision radar developed in this paper can realize the functions of target parameter information calculation of remote trucks and closed cars.At the same time,the radar can accurately judge the running state of the current vehicle by implementing the real-time update of the safety distance.In summary,in this paper,the design and implementation of vehicle forward collision avoidance radar system are carried out.The test results show that the system can be used to realize the vehicle crash warning function and support adaptive cruise applications.It has great practical significance and great application value in the automotive active safety,automotive automatic driving and other fields.
