Automobile collision avoidance radar can lower the probability of traffic accidence, which will be widely applied to improve security of vehicles. There are many working styles of the automotive radar and different styles vary their performance and cost. In this thesis, an LFMCW radar and a FSK radar are designed and produced. On the research base of former scientists and engineers, some radar signal process circuit were reformed and improved. It's the first domestic FSK style automobile radar used for collision avoidance.Firstly, the structure of radar was designed and their technique parameters were calculated in this thesis. The principle of LFMCW, FSK, SFCW radar was researched, the entire course of target detection was analyzed and performance of radar was determined. The FSK and SFCW radars were simulated by ADS soft, through which the scheme of their designation was validated.Secondly, a LFMCW and an FSK radar was designed and produced. It's the first domestic FSK style automobile radar used for collision avoidance. Some circuit module were designed and produced, including the control circuit and signal process circuit of these radars, the sensitivity frequency control circuit for LFMCW radar which can compress its dynamic domain of signal and enlarge its detection range, the soft demodulation circuit for FSK radar which simplifies its structure and lower the cost.Besides these, a data sample and storage system for radar signal analysis was designed and produced.
