The Research And Design On Relay Protection For 110kV Intelligent Substation

Traditional substation is difficult to meet the requirements of modern power system because of many drawbacks.Intelligent substation effectively solves the data "isolated island" phenomenon,realizes the system each unit data interaction and enhances the data sharing.The relay protection device of intelligent substation can make the power equipment malfunction and operation abnormal in substation quickly and response selectively.Therefore,the fault equipment is removed from the system in order to achieve the normal operation without affecting the fault-free equipment,so that the scope of the failure to minimize the impact,improve the power grid system and equipment operation Security,Reliability?This paper takes 110 kV substation as the research object,analyzes and studies the application advantage of relay protection in intelligent substation.Based on the IEC61850 standard,the paper analyzes the 3-layer architecture of IEC61850 standard and the corresponding definition of logical interface,and studies the standard of relay protection architecture in intelligent substation.A relay protection system architecture based on electronic transformers,merging units,switches and intelligent terminals is established,the configuration requirements of relay protection are analyzed from three aspects of line protection,main transformer protection and Busbar protection,and the design of relay protection device configuration scheme is realized.Based on this,according to the requirements of the 110 kV substation in Lanzhou Luowan,the configuration of the intelligent relay protection device on the unified standard platform is realized based on the IEC61850 standard system,and the setting of the relay Protection intelligent device is given.Through the analysis of the actual operation of relay protection in 110 kV substation of Lanzhou Luowan,it is shown that the relay protection equipment in substation can be correctly operated when the fault occurs,which verifies the feasibility and correctness of the design scheme.The design and configuration of intelligent substation in this paper can provide reference for the intelligent transformation of other substations.
