Firstly,the development of linear motor is summarized in this paper.The origin and the structure of tubular switched reluctance linear motor(TSRLM)is introduced and the electromechanical energy conversion model and control modes of TSRLM are also described.Moreover,the research trends of TSRLM in the future are elaborated.In this research,the single-phase TSRLM is selected as the research target.Through the construction of rational hardware and design of complete software programs,the overall debugging of the control system to realize the desired function of control system is achieved.The control strategy of TSRLM,including expounding the control flow of the motor from the aspects of electric and generation respectively,is introduced.Secondly,the hardware circuit design of the control system is introduced which includes the selection of control chips,the design of signals sampling circuit,the design of control signals outputting circuit and the construction of power converter main circuit.Based on these circuits,several input signals and output signals can be acquired and monitored so that the reliable operation of the motor can be achieved.In the electric mode,the outer frequency loop combining the inner current loop which can limit the winding current and ensure stability performance is used in the control system.In the generation mode,the outer voltage loop combining the inner current is selected.The value of load voltage can be adjusted in real time to achieve a controllable load voltage.The cores of the controller are ds PIC30F6010 A and EPM570T100C5 N.Combining with other peripheral auxiliary circuits,they can accomplish the signals input and output functions.In this paper,the software programs are compiled and debugged to achieve the purpose of regulating the motor according to various control strategies for different operation modes.With the hardware circuits of control system,the test system of linear motor based on Lab VIEW is designed.The hardware design of the test system is introduced which includes the description of signal sensors,conditioning circuits and data acquisition card.Then,Lab VIEW is used for software programming and its user interface and program diagram are designed to realize the function of real-time display and preservation of the test system.Finally,the control platform for verifying the rationality and feasibility of the control strategy is established.Electric experiment,generation experiment and test system functional verification experiment are completed.Experimental waveforms are collected.The results are analyzed in detail.Their results show that TSRLM has good electric and generation performance.It can be flexibly controlled so that it has good practicality.
