Rail transportation linear motors mainly include linear induction motors and linear synchronous motors.Linear induction motors have the disadvantages of large starting current,low power factor,low efficiency and obvious end effect.Linear synchronous motors are difficult to start,have complex structures and high cost,and are mostly used in high-speed fields.If the linear switched reluctance motor uses an intermittent block structure,the cost of it is lower than that of a linear induction motor,and it has good starting performance,high reliability and weak end effect.The application of linear switched reluctance motors in medium and low speed rail transit is researched in the paperFirst,structure of linear switched reluctance motor for rail transit is selected.The four structures of the transverse flux linear switched reluctance motor:CI type,CC type,El type,and EE type are compared and analyzed.The static finite element models of the four types of motors are built in Flux 3D finite element simulation software.The simulation results are quantitatively analyzed from the perspective of the maximum and average of the unit electromagnetic thrust,and the EE motor structure is optimized.And then using the switched reluctance motor design theory,the initial size of the motor is calculated.Based on the initial size of the motor,the sensitivity of the motor primary tooth width,primary slot depth,primary slot width,secondary tooth width,secondary slot depth,secondary slot width,primary stack thickness,and secondary stack thickness are analyzed using finite element calculation software.The optimized size of the motor is obtained and the calculation results of motor flux and magnetic common energy are obtained.A three-dimensional transient finite element model of the motor is built,and the three phase current,magnetic flux,electromagnetic thrust and normal force of the motor were calculated and analyzed.In addition to the traditional silicon steel sheet of the motor,three solid materials of No.10 steel block,Q235 steel block and pure electric iron are selected in the paper.And magnetic flux,static electromagnetic thrust and normal force of the four secondary materials under different excitation currents are compared and analyzed.Finally,a prototype is trial-produced,and a hardware test platform is built,which mainly includes controllers,power converters,drive circuits,isolation circuits,position detection sensors,current detection circuits,and auxiliary power supplies.The static electromagnetic thrust of the motor under four different secondary materials and the flux data of the motor in different materials and positions are measured.The measured date is compared with the simulation calculation results,and the error analysis is done.Speed tests of the prototype at different voltages are done.The flow charts of the main program,initialization subroutine and interrupt service subroutine are given.The test results prove that the designed prototype has good dynamic performance,which lays the foundation for the following work.
