Fiber optic cables in the industry are mostly designed with 24 cores or 36 cores.For traditional one-way and single-wavelength optical transmission modes,the information capacity can be very low.In order to improve the transmission capacity,the number of optical cables must be increased,which will lead to a series of problems such as the rapid increase of engineering construction and subsequent maintenance costs.As an advanced modern communication technology,optical wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)has effectively expanded the transmission capacity of optical fiber communication.However,it is not widely seen in power communication.If it can be used effectively and safely in power communication,it will effectively improve communication efficiency and improve communication environment.This thesis to Qingyuan power communication network as the research object.The area of Qingyuan is mountainous,the northern population is small,the industrial and commercial is not developed,and the electricity load is low.Qingyuan district is the hub of China sent a ride,Yun Guang 800 kV DC transmission line after Qingyuan,north Guangdong Shaoguan power plant electricity to send the same to the south after Qingyuan,combined with the Qingyuan with Guangzhou,many of the same area of electric power communication business,and even the entire south network transmission business,will be after Qingyuan electric power communication network,thus promote the Qingyuan electric power communication transmission efficiency and transmission rate becomes especially important.How to combine WDM technology in Qingyuan power communication network is an important topic.Paper research is based on the special situation of power communication in Qingyuan area and follows the principle of safe operation of power grid,and proposes the application of optical wavelength division multiplexing technology to Qingyuan power communication.A simulation optical transmission experiment was established to test the optical attenuation and error rate of WDM transmission,and verify the feasibility of WDM technology in Qingyuan power communication.This thesis is divided into six chapters,the chapter one is the current situation and development trend of the intelligent network.Chapter two overview of WDM technology;Chapter three the demand of power communication network in Qingyuan area and the analysis of current situation;The fourth chapter optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission loss test;Chapter five optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission error rate test;Chapter six the conclusion of this experiment and the future prospect.
