With the continuously development of national economy,the peak of power load keeps continuously raising and also the deference between peak and valley shows an expanding trend.The electric imbalance of some districts becomes a very serious problem,which seriously threaten the safe and stable operation of power grid.At the same time,there are some new characteristics appears under the process of UHV construction,which also increase the security risk of grid.The traditional extensive control method such as adjustment of power output and power rationing will lead to incensement of system operation cost,and even influence user's electrical demand and experience,which no longer fit the development demand of smart grid and UHV(Ultal High Voltage)grid.How to efficiently utilize users' load to rapidly response grid's demand so that it can fully play its adjustment capacity throughout all stages when grid's situation changing,is a necessary problem of china's power system that need to be solved.Aiming at this scientific problem,this paper carried out a series of research work.Firstly,the characteristics of load cluster that is suitable for rapid response has been summarized.At the same time,the load influence on frequency stability of gird has been analyzed.And the paper also probed into the market operational mode suitable for load clusters' rapid response.The frame work of MAS(Mas-Agent-System)of load clusters'rapid response has been proposed,which proves the technical feasibility of load clusters'rapid response.Secondly,control method of load clusters' rapid response adapted to frequency variation based on MAS has been proposed.According to the detection of frequency variation,the load clusters could change devices' operation situation and correspondingly reduce or increase load,thereby protecting the safe and stable operation of grid.In the MAS,Coordination-Agent could set the parameter to achieve coordinated and asynchronous response.Cluster-Agent could centralized analyze operation information of mass load,and then upload loads' operation information to Control-Agent.Control-Agent could compute the power demand of rapid response based on load and frequency information,and then control the load in open cluster or close cluster according to priority method thereby achieving rapid response.Finally,simulation project has been designed to verify proposed rapid response method of load clusters.The simulation project includes researches on frequency condition and response condition when large impact load disturbance and continuously impact load disturbance occurred.According to the simulation results,based on periodic inspect and asynchronous response,the load clusters can realize continuous and fast action against gird's frequency abnormity,thereby restraining continuous decline of frequency and extension of accident.And when there are more load clusters,the result shows load cluster could achieve fine adjustment to grid abnormity,and also reduce the overshoot influence caused by over response.The proposed rapid response of load cluster could help to rapidly adjust users' load by clustered control when grid is under emergency,thereby enhancing power system' safe and stable operation capacity on the premise that do not influence users' electrical demand.It can really establish a reliable defense line to protect security of power system.
