Architecture is a sign that witnesses the historical development of mankind and the level of industry and the civilization.High-rise building is a very important architectural language and form of contemporary city. With the development of China’s economy, the process of urbanization speeds up so that more and more skyscrapers spring up.When the sightseeing layer acts as the top function of these skyscrapers,it often becomes the focus of this project for the public.Establishing a sightseeing layer at the top of a high-rise building can not only let people overview the whole appearance and change of the city, but also witness a foothold in the development of the city.Besides,it is also the window to introduce and spread urban core area and urban landscape to the outside world. At present, with the rapid development of China’s cities, the rapid development of high-rise buildings is amazing. But there is rare analysis of the design of the tourist layer. How to design a more popular and safe sightseeing layer is the research direction of this paper. This paper attempts to sort out the current situation and trend of the development of high-rise buildings at home and abroad. It also analyzed the objective factors that affect the design of the sightseeing layer, and then studied the streamline design, functional layout and architectural form of the sightseeing layer by analyzing several sightseeing layer cases. The systematic study of the sightseeing layer promotes the design of sightseeing layer to be more perfect, safe, organized and iconic. This paper hopes to inspire designers through these analysis, and better promote the development of China’s construction industry,to achieve a certain practical value in the actual engineering.
