In recent years,hybrid capacitor with high energy density and power density has attracted much attention of researchers.The positive electrode of hybrid capacitor is a material having a high specific surface area by which ions are absorbed on the surface or inside of the material so as to store electric charge,and the negative electrode of hybrid capacitor stores charge by embedding ions into the materials.Because of this the hybrid capacitor can combine high energy density and power density into one device.In this paper,the cathode material was prepared by the activation of carbon spheres,which s ynthesize d via hydrothermal re actio n,to gether with a mo unt of reage nt for the formatio n of the c arbo n s pheres.The pre pare d poro us c arbo n material e xhibite d a large specific surface area and good structural stability.The experimental results show that in the activation process when the ratio of potassium hydroxide to carbon microspheres is 5:1,it exhibits the best electrical performance in the sodium ion battery.The capacitance is 183.6 F/g When discharged at 50 mA/g,What's more,it can also be charged at a high current of 10 A/g.The electrical data indicates that the porous carbon material we prepared can be used as a positive electrode material for the hybrid sodium ion capacitor.The anode material was MoS2/C composite materials which were prepared by hydrothermal method.The voltage window is 0.4-2.5 V when did the electrical test.The results show that the initial specific capacity of the material is increased from 174.1 mAh/g to 648.3 mAh/g after reaction.It can also maintain a good stability after 100 cycle.The MoS2/C has a good rate performance,can also be charged at 20 A/g.These electrical data showed that the MoS2/C can be used as the anode material of hybrid sodium ions capacitor.When used the above materials as the positive and negative materials of the sodium ion capacitor,respectively.The ratio of the positive and negative material mass is 2 to 1,the sodium ion capacitor showed the best electrochemical properties.The energy density was 194 Wh/kg and the po wer density was 2310 W/kg when charged at 1 A/g,The energy density was 36 Wh/kg and the po wer density was 18130W/kg when discharged at 10 A/g.
