Supercapacitor is a new energy storage device which possesses the featuresof both battery and capacitors. It has a high energy density, fast charge anddischarge, long cycle life, wide temperature range and so on. So it has broadapplication prospects in electric vehicles and high-performance power and otherfields.As one of the supercapacitor electrode materials, activated carbon hasadvantages include of a large specific surface area, developed pore structure,high chemical stability and rich source. Based on the principle of electric doublelayer supercapacitors, the activated carbon, conductive agent and a binder wasblend by different mass fraction ratio. And KCl solution2mol/L was chosen as anelectrolyte because it is neutral solution with high solubility, high conductivity,high decomposition voltage and good wettability. With these the supercapacitorelectrodes was blend that the activated carbon mass fractions are60%,65%,70%,75%and80%. The capacitance, specific energy and specific power of activatedcarbon electrode was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry that scanning rates were2mV/s,5mV/s,10mV/s,20mV/s,50mV/s,100mV/s and200mV/s, and constantcurrent charge-discharge test that the current density was0.2A/g,0.5A/g,1A/g,2A/g and5A/g. The results show that the specific capacitance was331.4F/g,specific energy was21.3Wh/kg and the specific power was296.3W/kg when theactivated carbon mass fraction was70%, the scan rate was2mV/s. Based on aseries-parallel hybrid, the structure model of monomer supercapacitor wasestablished. Series can improve the decomposition voltage, and shunt canimprove capacitance. So the decomposition voltage and capacitance of themonomer supercapacitors can be optimized by series and parallel hybrid. This research provides an important reference for the series-parallel hybridmonomer supercapacitors based on activated carbon and all-solid-state planarmicro-supercapacitor.
