| Mobile applications have become everywhere and dispensable in human’s daily life,which not only act as social functions but impact the lifestyle and values of people greatly.Emotional research on application user interface(APP UI)has been widely undertaken to detect user’s emotional changes when they use these apps,so that to guide the design of APP UI and to improve the friendliness of it.The current applications of Kansei engineering in APP UI design mainly utilize Kansei words to assess the interface design,which may decrease the objectivity of the evaluation due to the inaccurate Kansei words used by users,and this may harm the objectivity of the evaluation.Therefore,other dimensions of evaluation are of significance to be introduced to reduce the process of active thinking and extraction of perceptual vocabulary,and to eliminate the subjective interference.This study uses audio testing method to evaluate the design of mobile Internet applications.Present the model of the Kansei engineering evaluation method of APP user interface design based on Audio Test,combine the traditional evaluation method of Kansei engineering and the research of the International Affective Picture System(IAPS)and the International Affective Digital Sounds(IADS).Based on the principles of Kansei engineering,this paper described preparation,process and results of the experiment,includes the collection and processing of sound materials,the formation of the interface program,the experimental tool set up,subject selection,data collection,analysis of the results,etc.Then evaluated the reliability of the result.The paper also compared the audio method with traditional design evaluation,of which the result validated the feasibility of the audio testing method for evaluating designs of mobile Internet applications. |
