With the rapid development of industrial economy and the diversification of living electricity,a large number of electrical equipment was randomly cut into the grid,which led to the frequent occurrence of load imbalance.The imbalance of the load is the cause of the power quality degradation,the harmonic pollution of the power grid and so on.How to solve the above problems effectively,it is of great significance to study the relevant theoretical methods involved in the research and develop the efficient and reliable three-phase load balancing device.Firstly,the research status of three-phase load balancing reactive power compensation domestic and overseas was studied in this paper.And the basic structure and working principle of reactive power compensation device were described in detail,on this basis,an intelligent three-phase load balancing device was developed by adopting TSC+TCR type hybrid reactive power compensation method.The software and hardware of the device were designed with the modularization in the paper.The hardware design mainly includes AD signal acquisition module,signal detection and processing module,security protection module,thyristor trigger module,communication module and reactive power compensation module,and the detailed circuit of the hardware was given in the design.The software includes AD sampling module,switch control module,switching oscillation judging module,thyristor trigger module,protection module and reactive power compensation control module.And the working principle of each module was analyzed,then program design flow chart was given according to the internal logic module.Finally,the three-phase load balancing device was tested.From the test results,it can be concluded that the designed intelligent device has the following advantages:sensitive and fast response,good reactive compensation effect,switching without oscillation,non-overcompensation and under-compensation phenomenon.Therefore,the quality of electric energy has been effectively guaranteed,which meets the design requirements.
