With the improvement of people's living standard,the car has become the necessary means of transportation for the family,resulting in a sharp increase in vehicle ownership,while the existing transportation infrastructure has been difficult to meet the actual traffic demand.As of June 2017,the number of motor vehicles in the country reached 304 million,of which 205 million are cars,371 million motor vehicle drivers,of whom more than 328 million are motorists.Dalian as early as 2017,the number of motor vehicles is nearly 1520,000 vehicles.From the statistical results,in next few years,the number of motor vehicles will continue increasing,which will lead to increasingly serious traffic congestion,deterioration of urban environment,frequent traffic accidents and a series of social problems.However,due to the scale of city construction and funding constraints,the solutions to such problems described as above can not simply rely on the expansion of the city road network scale,as well as the existing infrastructure expansion to meet the growing traffic demand,therefore,on the one hand,some traffic management measures to reduce traffic from the source are needed to be taken,on the other hand,selecting the appropriate control methods that makes the vehicles on the road can realize operation safely and quickly.In urban road network,signal control system is an important way to improve the conditions of urban traffic.As the interface between adjacent roads,the intersection of urban road is the bottleneck of vehicle operation".The adjustment of traffic signal at an intersection often affects the running status of traffic flow at adjacent intersections.Therefore,the implementation of signal coordination control of one or several main roads is an effective measure to ensure the efficiency of urban road operation,and has become a hot issue in recent years.With the application of big data,the real-time traffic flow information of urban road,the short-term development trend and the geometric characteristics of the road are all available,which can make the trunk signal control system closer to reality.Through the analysis of the vehicle start stop line in the upstream intersection up to downstream intersection stop line,the traffic flow rules are analyzed in the paper.By using the real-time traffic information,each cycle length,split and offset can be adjusted in real-time in order to realize route and vehicle delay and minimum pedestrian delay by optimization model of phase difference in genetic algorithm,.Finally,the optimization model can be simulated using the two development function of VIS SIM(COM),and the operation results show that:according to the traffic signal real-time traffic signal scheme is more practical,reduce vehicle delay,improve the road capacity.
