Deployable mechanism of folding wing is an important part of missile which provide aerodynamic lift and control torque,and it is beneficial to the miniaturization of missile launcher.When deploying,the influence of the variable factors such as pneumatic force and Hinge clearance of the folding wing is carried out,and the failure modes of the expansion mechanism show the diversity,deployable indicators performance indexs show a random nature.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the reliability analysis of the folding wing expansion mechanism.At present,the research on the missile folding wing deplayable mechanism is all for once folding wing,so it is necessary to analyze the failure modes and reliability evaluation of the twice folding wing.The twice folding wing was selected as the research object in this paper,based on its characteristics and working principle,the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic analysis and FMEA and FTA or impact characteristics analysis and reliability modeling and simulation were carried out,the main research contents include:The lift coefficient of the wing was obtained through CFD simulation by FLUENT software and the relationship between the aerodynamic load and time was determined based on the operating principle and structure features of deployable mechanism for twice folding wing.The rigid-flexible coupling finite element model was developed by HyperMesh software.By imposing aerodynamic load which was equivalent to surface load on the wings,the deployable angle date of the middle wing and the maximum stress contours were obtained through the simulation,then,the hazardous were determined.The FMEA of deployable mechanism for twice folding wing was determined according to the analysis method of FMEA,for obtaining all possible failure modes and consequences of the deployable mechanism.In order to verifying and supplement the failure modes obtained by FMEA,the failure mode of the expansion mechanism was obtained by using the FTA method to qualitatively analyze and quantitatively analyze.According to the failure criterions and failure modes,setting angle and time or bending stress of the rod as the performance indexs,and the reliability theory models of each index were determined.Based on the parametric modeling process of the twice folding wing,the parametric model was determinded.The random parameters was determineded and the performance indexs was selected.Finally,the reliability simulation model of deployable mechanism for twice folding wing was determined.Based on the parameterized model which was determined by ADAMS,the simulation test of folding mechanism wsa developed by using ADAMS/Insight.The reliability of the deployable mechanism was calculated combined with the reliability model,then,the reliability assessment was completed which offers supports for the follow-up reliability research of deployment mechanism of twice folding wings.
