Common rail technology on low-speed diesel engine is one of the research hotspots of ship power.It is of important practical significance for breaking long-term dependence on imports,the kinds of passive situation and improving the localization of supporting ability and level to carry out domestic research and design on low-speed marine diesel engine electronic control system.In this paper,aiming at the integrated electronic control system for low-speed common rail marine diesel engine,research and design on its core components-cylinder control system has been conducted.First,based on the knowledge learning and absorbing from foreign companies,such as MAN and Wartsila,in designing advanced integrated electronic control system for low-speed diesel engines,the overall design of the cylinder control system for low-speed common rail marine diesel engine is proposed.Then the function of two components of the cylinder control system-speed governing unit and cylinder control unit is analyzed in detail and schematic design is completed.Secondly,based on modular method and taking the function of each unit module into account,hardware design of speed governing unit and cylinder control unit is completed,and functional verification is performed.Then,state management module and speed control module of speed governing unit,speed signal processing module,fuel injection control module,fuel rail pressure control module and the implementing drive control modules of cylinder control unit have been analyzed and designed in detail.Finally,the hardware function of cylinder control system is tested,and experimental validation on the control strategies of cylinder control system are performed based on hardware in the loop(HIL)simulation platform.The experimental results show that the hardware and the strategies for fuel rail pressure and servo oil rail pressure control,fuel injection timing control,engine start control and speed governing meet the design requirements.
