Natural light has three advantages over the artificial lighting: Energy saving;Ascending human visual perception,improve the efficiency of reading or working;Benefit hunman's physical and mental health.Therefore people focus more and more attention on the natural lighting.Especially office buildings are main used for working during the day and request high visual ability so that architect should pay enough attention on the application of natural lighting in scheme design phase.There are many factors that affect natural lighting in reality,including external conditions such as outside surface reflect,weather conditions and so on,building itself conditions such as orientation,inside surface reflect,ratio of glazing to floor area,depth and so on.There are other special factors for special plan such as WI.The strengths for architect are qualitative analysis of natural lighting and creating a aesthetic or shadowing space.So there is some weakness when architects consider the natural lighting in scheme design phase.I have not enquired the combination research of natural lighting and architectural plane form.The paper take office buildings in tianjin area as an example.Maintain the information of facors that affect natural lighting,such as depth,layer height,ratio of glazing to floor area and so on through field investigation.Using the ECOTCT and Radiance to do the simulation by the orthogonal experiment design method.Take the average daylight factor as evaluation index,through quantitative analysis,finally concluded that optimal combination factors and the priority for factors for different office buildings plane form.Meanwhile,using multiple linear regression to obtain average daylight factor regression equation for different plane form with SPSS software.Last but not least,to verify the exactness of the equation by drawing the fitting scatterplot between calculated values and computer simulation values.The research can not only reduce the lighting energy consumption,but can give users a good natural light environment so that improve users visual perception.The research results can give effective advice to use natural lighting for architects in the office building scheme design phase.Achitects can not only up the architectural lighting design standards,but have realiable choice for plane in scheme design phase.
