With the advancement of science and technology,the degree of automation and intelligence of modern ships is getting higher and higher,putting forward higher requirements on the professional knowledge and operation level of the crew.The central cooling water system is an important part of marine power plant.Strengthening the crew,s operation,maintenance and management of the cooling water system is essential to ensure the safe navigation of the ship.In addition,IMO has listed the marine simulator as a compulsory item for the crew training examinations in STCW78/95.In the existing marine simulator system both at home and abroad,the simulation models of the central cooling water system have different degrees of simplification,can't set more complex faults,can't meet the deeper troubleshooting,higher judgment and emergency response Therefore,it is imminent to develop a ship central cooling water simulation training system that can set up faults and meet the needs of crew's deeper training and examination.In this paper,a container ship as a mother-type ship,its central cooling water system conducted a more in-depth study.According to the pipeline of cooling water system and equipment specification,the model of the seawater system,the low temperature freshwater system and the high temperature freshwater system in the central cooling water system is established by the modular modeling method,and the heat exchanger,the cooling water pump,the temperature control unit,Making water and other equipment mathematical model;using Visual C++ to build the mathematical model programming calculation;design and development of simulation system interface,and the mathematical model program and the user interface program is imported into the PROSIMS simulation platform,The operation interface and the simulation model are communicated with each other.The simulation results are compared with the parameters of the real ship.The simulation error is less than 5%,which verifies the accuracy of the mathematical model.On the basis of the above,System practice test questions,simulation tests verify the correctness of the questions.
