With the rapid development of energy storage technology,the superior performance of energy storage system has been widely recognized by the power system industry.The energy storage technology has been more and more studied and applied in power system.Especially,the achievements of new storage medium and grid-connected control technology appear one after another.At present,the research on energy storage technology mainly focuses on the islanding operation of micro-grid and the control method in single-machine infinite-bus system.In the traditional power system frequency control and voltage control energy storage system has unique advantages.With the rapid increase in capacity and power of energy storage systems in the future,the value of energy storage in the construction of the next generation of power grids is particularly prominent.This paper focuses on the stable and flexible control strategy of battery energy storage system in the multi-machine and wide-area environment of large power grid.This paper consists of four parts,including the energy storage system topology,the electromagnetic transient model,the electromechanical transient model,and the stability analysis of multiple energy storage systems in the power grid.The research content and work are as follows:(1)Study the mathematical model of energy storage system.The topological form of the energy storage system is analyzed to establish mathematical constraints.The output characteristics of the various parts of the energy storage system were studied and analyzed.The model construction,parameter identification methods and control strategies were simulated based on the MATLAB/Simulink platform.The accuracy of the model was verified by comparison with experimental data.(2)Based on PSASP,an electromechanical transient model of energy storage system was established,and energy storage was involved in a simulation study of primary frequency modulation.In order to solve the lack of a general simulation model of energy storage system on the PSASP platform,the simulation model was developed based on the platform,an electromechanical transient model of the energy storage system was built,and the development of various aspects of the model was completed.Finally,the model is used to simulate the dynamic process that energy storage participates in the primary frequency regulation of the power grid.The accuracy of the simulation model is verified and the effect of energy storage participation in frequency modulation is studied.(3)Simulate and analyze the stability of multiple energy storage systems connected to the power grid.Using the electromechanical transient model of the energy storage system,based on PSASP software platform for example analysis,combined with the typical network structure of the power system,the stability of the energy storage system in the power system environment with large grid,multi-machine,and multiple working states Conduct research analysis and simulation verification.The verification results show that the electromechanical transient model of the energy storage system can accurately reflect the dynamic process of the system and its control strategy can achieve the requirements of stable control of the system.
