Aircraft auxiliary power unit applications in the field of aviation more and more widely,as the country’s emphasis is focusing on aerospace,security and stability of aircraft are also increasingly stringent.As part of the plane,the aircraft auxiliary power unit provide power and compressed air aircraft independently,so that all of the aircraft engine power could be used to ground accelerate and climb,improving takeoff performance of the aircraft.But the survey found that the current auxiliary power unit for fault analysis and processing is still in the stage of maintenance personnel with experience,which for troubleshooting and process resulting a waste of manpower and time.Many problem of aircraft auxiliary power unit in the actual operation is unstructured problem,these problems are difficult to use precise numerical calculations to be answered and addressed.As the aircraft auxiliary power units,usually only play a supporting role for aircraft engines,without affecting flight safety have a direct impact on the state of the APU and therefore the airline failed to pay enough attention to monitoring.Failure alarm information generated in the course of the aircraft may run a lot,and some must be dealt with immediately,while others can be further processed in the plane is idle.When a fault alarm appeared in large numbers,complex fault alarm information will lead to operating personnel a loss in the process.In order to timely and accurately determine the true source of the fault,the fault alarm management preset corresponding priority is a very important aspect,in addition to a large number of expert domain knowledge,a lot of experience in operation and maintenance and complex reasoning and judgment is essential.Therefore,the professional level of staff on-site requirements are very high.And due to the limitation of professional standards,when a large number of alarm message appears,the crew will be very confused.Aiming aircraft auxiliary power unit during troubleshooting existing problems,research design and implementation using expert system technology of fault diagnosis system.In this paper,fault diagnosis expert system based on expert system technology to do the following work:1.The article first introduces the basic principles of the current research status and aircraft auxiliary power system fault diagnosis of aircraft auxiliary power units and the original fault diagnosis method,on the problems and shortcomings of the original fault diagnosis method has been analyzed and collected.2.The article analyzes the use of expert system technology and are closely associated with decision support technology and artificial intelligence technology,by comparison and analysis,the respective advantages and disadvantages of the different fields of application,and on the choice of the expert system technology Description.3.The article analyzes the diagnostic process aircraft auxiliary power unit troubleshooting and application requirements,namely the use of physical contact diagrams and data flow diagram of the system data and process modeling,fault diagnosis system would function has been divided modules,sub for fault monitoring module,fault alarm module and fault processing module,and on troubleshooting module further divided.4.The article gives the application architecture design fault diagnosis system is designed to achieve a number of different functional modules systematic approach,while achieving the design and implementation of aircraft auxiliary power unit fault diagnosis expert system,and to carry out the functions and performance of the system testing and operation analysis.Based on the test results of aircraft auxiliary power unit troubleshooting expert system shows that the aircraft auxiliary power unit fault diagnosis expert system can significantly improve the efficiency of fault diagnosis,save a lot of manpower and material resources.It will provide a powerful forward for the development of the aviation industry.
