Styling Design Of E50 City Electric Vehicle In SAIC

Nowadays cars have become an important part of modern city that organically link the whole city together.However,cars also brought a lot of problems such as environmental pollution and the depletion of energy.Fortunately,electric cars will become an effective method of solving these problems.China's auto industry is experiencing a transformation process,constantly moving forward from an imitation stage to the stage of independent design,from a low-end&low-quality stage to a high-end&high-quality stage.In order to deal with competitors with hundred years of technology accumulation,the development of electric vehicles will undoubtedly become an effective way to achieve the corner overtaking.As an important part of car development process,design is a factor that directly affects success during the fierce competition in the market.Therefore,this paper has a certain practical value and theoretical value on the exploration of the future design language of small electric car.The electric car,a new species that the internal structures and energy forms are obviously different from the traditional car,similar to the difference between Apple phones and Nokia,is a subversive product.However,The existing electric vehicle styling language is still in the traditional form.From the perspective of visual appearance,electric cars can not effectively pull the gap between the traditional car,and are not able to find their own proprietary identity.From the design point of view,this situation conveys a sense of confusion to the consumers and to explore the exclusive language belonging to the electric car is required.This paper takes small electric car as the research object,supported by the SAIC school-enterprise cooperation projects during the internship in SAIC.On the basis of analyzing and understanding the design input of SAIC,the corresponding design strategy is developed,the SAIC design language is summed up and the target customers determined.The design languages of the future electric car of SAIC ROEWE brand are explored.Studying the small car features of existing competitive brand and investigating into the future trends could assist the generation of design.The structure of the paper is carried out by the proposition from SAIC as the main content.On the basis of understanding the design requirements of SAIC and the development background of the times,the design strategies and design nodes are determined.Through the study of the latest design language of SAIC and the corresponding target types,according to the analysis of the previous design research results,a multiple round sketch scheme designs are carried out.The best solution for this proposition is selected before the completion of the final hard model.This design provides an effective reference and a practical case for the SAIC future electric car design.
