With the development of science and technology,the radiation air conditioning system has attracted great attentions and been widely used as a new type of air conditioning system,because of its advantages that it can save energy,improve comfort and improve indoor thermal environment.More and more scholars at home and abroad begin to study it.Firstly,this paper introduces the three basic forms of radiant cooling and the main characteristics of three kinds of radiant cooling system,three basic forms of radiant cooling are ceiling radiant cooling,floor radiant cooling and wall radiant cooling.This paper briefly introduces the development status,function modules and main characteristics of building energy simulation software EnergyPlus,and its interface tools and third party interface.By constructing the test room,we build a system with different radiant cooling modes combined with fan coil,the comparison between single wall radiant cooling system and multi wall radiant cooling system is carried out.The experimental results show that multi wall radiant cooling system has a higher temperature of the chilled water and a better indoor thermal environment,when reaching the same thermal comfort degree,multi wall radiant cooling system's surface of the radiation plate is not easy to condensation,and has a larger cooling capacity.After that,this paper sets up different radiant cooling systems and simulates their thermal comfort and energy consumption of by applying EnergyPlus.Through the analysis of indoor thermal comfort index:floor temperature,operating temperature,radiation uniformity,relative humidity,PMV-PPD index,we find the combination of fan coil,ceiling radiant cooling and two wall radiant cooling own the better energy saving in the same comfort conditions,compared with other systems,,when the PMV index is zero.Meanwhile,we also analyze the energy consumption of these systems,and result that the radiant cooling system can reduce the energy consumption of cold and heat source of and energy consumption of the fan,but increase the energy consumption of water pump.In general,the energy consumption of the HVAC system will be greatly reduced.We simulates thermal comfort and energy consumption of different radiant cooling systems in the air-conditioning season,it is found that the radiant cooling system has the advantages of great energy saving and better thermal comfort in the whole cooling season.Finally,we conclude that multi wall radiant cooling system especially the combination of fan coil,ceiling radiant cooling and two wall radiant cooling has a large energy saving potential,indoor thermal environment and can form a more uniform indoor thermal environment the formation of a more uniform,compared with the single wall radiant cooling and convection air conditioning,which provides a reference for the design and application of multi wall radiant cooling air conditioning system.
