With the depletion of fossil fuels has been faced with a crisis and the human needsfor new energy development, wind power as a clean green energy has been paid more attention and developing rapidly. However, due to the randomness and volatility of wind power, unstable running of wind turbine cannot be sustained and stable generate electricity, which leads to voltage fluctuations and power quality impact. In recent years, with the expanding scale and increasing capacity of wind farms, the large-scale wind farm integrated into the regional grid made the impact on the local grid voltage is getting worse.Analysis of large-scale wind power collection area of regional power grid voltage condition is currently a hot research field of power system.First of all, this paper studies the structure and properties of three common grid-connected wind turbines and the working principle of wind farm application of more four reactive power compensation device.Andthen,it analyzes the key node voltage problems associated with wind farms and wind farms under different operation modes the gathered area of bus voltage level, combined different fan output and the ability to regulate different reactive power compensation and other conditions,in connection with the impact on the grid voltage for grid-connected wind farms in different types of wind turbines constructed. Then for the operating mode of the power grid, develop the grid voltage control strategy to reduce the voltage fluctuation of outlets and improve the quality of grid-connected wind power. Finally,a wind farm in Inner Mongolia concentrated area substation as an example, using the measured data to build a wind farm unit simulation model to calculate, verify the effectiveness ofthe reactive voltage optimizationcontrol strategy of large-scale wind power collection area.
