With the increasing of Chinese economies,energy need and consumption of China increases.In China,energy structures are not reasonable,for example,70%of power plant's consumptions are fossil fueled energies.Fossil fueled energies will produce many pollutants and Globle warming gases.Studies show that the temperature of the world is increasing with the increasing of CO2.This will melt the icebergs and thus increase the sea levels.So it is dangers.It is important to reduce the emission of CO2 from power plant.Studies show that post combustion carbon capture is now the most reasonable one.The coupling method of a carbon capture system is the base of the application of Carbon capture technology in a coal-fired power plants.So here the coupling method is studied and compared.A MEA based carbon capture system and a 1000MW super critical power plant are studied as an example.First,a numerical model of the carbon capture energy is established.The enegy consumption characters of the system is studied.Results show that under the best parameters,energy consumption of the carbon capture system is about 3.988GJ/tCO2.With the increase of the concentration of MEA solution,the energy consumption of the system will decrease.Second,the performance of the traditional way of coupling method and coupling method with small steam turbine was compared.A 1000MW supercritical power plant was studied and the thermal performance and economics performance of the system were compared.Result shows that adding a small steam turbine will increase the output of the power plant by 72.42MW,power generation efficiency by 3.23%and reduce the coal consumption by 28.55g/kWh,power generation cost by 0.003?/kWh,carbon capture cost by 20.12?/tCO2.So wether the thermal or the economic performance of the new coupling method is better than the traditional one.At last the thermal performance and economic performance of a solar assisted power plant were studied.Result shows that uncer the best coupling method,the power generation cost increased by 0.201?/kWh,capture carbon cost increased by107.09?/tCO2 and the capture carbon cost is 377.42?/tCO2.Traditional coupling method,coupling method with small steam turbine and the solar assisted carbon capture system each have advantages and disadvantages.Solar assisted carbon capture system can effectively reduce the exhaust volume,improve the safety operation of the unit to ensure the net output.Adding a small turbine can reduce the cost of power generation and carbon capture,improve the economy performance of the power plant.The biggest advantage of the traditional coupling method is simple to achieve.Its economy performance is much better than that of solar assisted carbon capture system,and has little difference with the method with small steam turbine.
