In actual engineering construction of China, reinforced concrete frame structure(RC)is widely applied.Because of its advantages such as large opening, relatively flexible space separation and short construction period. However, under the action of earthquake, reinforced concrete frame structure(RC)is prone to yield failure.Later,a number of infilled walls were arranged in the frame structure to separate the space. The addition of the filler wall increased the stiffness of the structure, but also reduced the ductility of the structure, which meant that the failure mechanism of the floor failure have not been changed. In view of this situation, scholars at home and abroad for some regulation of structural deformation, they put forward the frame rocking wall structure and frame structure with rock filling wall of two kinds of new structure system, the system complete the structure of floor deformation control by the wall of the swing, the layer of uniform deformation, then that prevent layer damage mechanism. On the basis of the study of the swing filled wall frame structure, this paper further studies the width of the structure base. The width of the structure is divided into five cases, which are full span, full span 1/3,full span 1/2,full span 2/3 and base width of 0.By using the finite element software SAP2000 for numerical simulation,5kinds of rocking filling wall-frame structure model of 4,6 and 8 layers with different base width are established respectively.By nonlinear static analysis, seismic structure of different layers of different base width performance comparison, structure model to get the base width for full swing across the 2/3 filled wall frame structure model has better seismic performance than others of the same number, then has carried on the preliminary design of basement structure. Then the dynamic time history analysis is used to verify the seismic performance of the rocking filled wall frame structure model with the width of the base width of 2/3.The research results show that the swaying infill wall frame structure changes the failure mode of the concrete frame, and makes it change from the yield failure of the floor to the integral failure. The role of each component is fully realized, and the ductility of the structure is greatly improved. In addition, the structure of rocking infilled wall frame is simple. When the width of the base of the wall is 2/3,the story drift angle is more uniform, and the bearing capacity of the structure is higher thanother structures.
