Water is the most vigorous and dynamic element for landscape design of residential area.The visual impact and landscape’s harmony which brings to the individuals are irreplaceable rather than other elements.With the sustainable development of city’s construction,a series of problems has emerged,such as internal waterlogging,shortage of water and water pollution.Most of individuals and researchers start to consider the recycling of rainfall.But the fact is that this kind of recycling is used for some large-scale public places.Residential district is considered as the most important part of the city.It is the key to solve the water consumption of landscape comprehensively by making use of the rainfall,arranging the ecological plants into community and purifying the rainfall.First of all,this paper summarizes and concludes some relevant theories.especially for design technique of waterscape in residential district and management of rainfall.Then,analyzing the mode for management of rainfall by combining with the investigation in residential district.After that,the author puts forward the importance of recycling the rainfall in waterscape design.It emphasizes on researching the recycling facilities of rainfall and how to realize the landscaping.In the meantime,it brings forward that rainfall must be considered as the utilization mode of waterscape.Also,it brings up relevant design techniques and principles based on different types of residential district.With the further discussion from waterscape carrier,combination waterscape arrangement with rainfall,this paper aims to achieve the sustainable recycling of rainfall.Applying it into the real life to prove its feasibility.It offers some new concepts for the recycling of rainfall in residential district.This thesis mainly discusses about these viewpoints as follows:1.Making use of the landscape design to provide multi functions to the places.Digging out the additional function of landscaping’s effect in residential district by the basis of making full use of rainfall.According to the location,scale,combination,security and sustainable developing principle for design,turning every detail of the place into landscaping and considering completely from collection,transportation,regulation and storage of the rainfall.2.Taking the green open space of residential district as an example.It proposes to put the rainfall into the source of the waterscape.The whole system will purify the water from the roof of residential construction to the internal place.It will improve the quality of rainfall recycling as well as accomplish the landscaping among the places.Finally,it will achieve the ecological recycling of rainfall.3.Researching the design techniques and steps by combining the recycling of rainfall with waterscape.Taking the case “Yangxin shiji mincheng”as an example.Based on its climate,natural,humane environment and several conditions.Treating them as the evidence of planning design,combining the way of rainfall collection and ensuring the arrangement of waterscape.The paper applies new method and practical case together.It puts forward the strategy which combines the rainfall recycling with waterscape in residential district.As well as the engineering technology and design concept.What’s more,it analyzes its feasibility to create a characteristic waterscape which is full of the features of places by calculating the amount of rainfall recycling and ensuring the storage of water.May this paper lead a new direction for the waterscape design in residential district.Even it will provide some new concepts for the combination of waterscape design and rainfall recycling.
