When dynamic response param eters are used to identify structural dam age,the mathematical model of structural d amage detection can b e constructed according to the dynamic theory,and the mathematical model is solved by using the computer intelligence algorithm,which can d irectly reflect the damage,damage position and damage degree of the structure.There is a higher requirem ent for the a ccuracy of mathematical model solution.In this paper,the Cuckoo Search is optimized,the ASCE Benchmark model is used as the research object,and the superio rity of the optim ization algorithm is validated.The specific research work is as follows:(1)A variety of da mage identification m ethods based on dyna mic response are reviewed,and the m ethods used in this paper are presented: Frequency m ethod and Vibration type method.(2)The origin of Cuckoo Search is e xpounded,and the control factors(discovery probability and evolution step vector component)are analyzed,and the improved object and concrete formula(2-8)and(2-9)of the algorithm are given.(3)Firstly,the hea lth monitoring ASCE Benchmark model was intro duced in th e University of Columbia in Canada,and the model parameters,load conditions and model damage types were given,and the dam age conditions of various working conditions were described,and then the num erical simulation programs in Matlab were written in various conditions The frequency and mode of vibration are extracted,and the frequency and mode of the m odel are com pared with the Ansys fem,and the correctness of the num erical simulation of various working conditions in Matlab is verified.(4)Using the Cuckoo Search(CS)and the Improved Cuckoo Search(ICS)to identify the various operating conditions of the ASCE Benchmark model,the recognition results under the condition of simulation damage are given,and the improved algorithm based on the formula(2-8)and(2-9)is m ore accurate than the o riginal algorithm.Finally,the acceleration data measured by the laborato ry are analyzed;the frequen cy and mode are extracted,and compared with the theoretical frequencies and modes calculated on Matlab,the ability to find the most deserted value by using the two algorithms is used to solve the objective function given in this paper.The Improved Cuckoo Search has m ore effective damage identification ability than the original Cuckoo Search.
