With the rapid development of social economy,in order to meet the need of production and life,an increasing demand for energy,at the same time brings the threat of global warming,the energy conservation and emissions reduction efficiency become the focus of the attention,and the grid is mainly electrical power transmission and distribution,which put forward higher request to the development of the power grid,in order to achieve power grid substation is efficient,reliable,economic,environment friendly and use the security target,design a kind of intelligent substation based on embedded system in order to achieve the above requirements.This paper first gives a brief overview of the development of smart substation,domestic and foreign research development status,research background,the main contents of the paper and the structural framework,and introduces the concept of intelligent substation and technical characteristics,achieve the goal,advantages and key technology,emphatically expounds the substation layer between intelligent electronic device based on embedded system overall design;Second,the device is the hardware and software design of the system,and the hardware design mainly includes the CPU and peripheral circuit,communication circuit design,selection and design of the design of the analog input circuit,switch input and output circuit design and so on,at the same time,temperature sensor of the electronic instrument transformer and the conventional transformer equipment such as the selection;Software design mainly elaborated the transplantation of the operating system on the CPU requirements and method,electric parameters calculation method of the data acquisition,control strategy of substation operation management and so on,which control strategy mainly has: reactive power control,voltage transformer transformer switching on-off control,temperature control,Finally,the operating system transplant,substation function task division and other relevant software design,and the reactive power and voltage transformer substation for monitoring the content of simulation test.In view of the substation monitoring,measurement,control,communications and other functional requirements,this topic designed a applied in substation layer between intelligent electronic devices.STM32F407ZGT6 as CPU used on this device in thehardware,the software design,the use of ?C/OS-II as an operating system,based on the characteristics of intelligent substation related functions for task division and the design of the application of the operating system,introduced the functional applications of these algorithms.Application of embedded technology,make the intelligent electronic device more lightweight,flexible,can be directly applied in the field installation and debugging.System design is completed,in power sub-station prototype simulation test platform,as well as the transformer substation construction and retrofit the scene,using intelligent electronic device of substation part function was tested,proved that the system has high stability and efficiency.
