For recent years,people have paid more attention on damage caused by vibrations especially on aerospace and ship construction field since there are many large-scale structure destruction and disasters.Consequently,it is important to research on vibration prevention in order to protect machines in mechanical engineering and aerospace field.Metal Rubber(MR for short)cushion is a new material.This material is produced through winding it into helical form and tensile?knitting and cold compression by which the material will be in a shape.In the subsequent process,tempering technology and vibration stability technology will also be applied in order to ensure that the metal rubber will not only possess the elasticity belonged to rubber but also have metal appearance and porosity caused by touch between metal wires.While there is external force,there will be sliding and extrusion between metal wires,which lead to dissipation of vibration power.The paper gives further theoretical and experimental research on static characteristic and vibration reduction principal of metal rubber material based on former research.Concrete contents are showed below.1.Cylindrical metal rubber material was taken as the object and referred on its production process.A kind of spring micro-element model was proposed and static constitutive relation of metal rubber material was established.Every factor would have influenced on metal rubber material in the production process have been taken into consideration.Its constitutive model from basic principal of forming is analyzed carefully,which makes it more clearly on physical concept.2.Frequency-sweeping vibration experiment on metal rubber materials was conducted and got structure parameters and how different outside loading condition influence output response.From microscopic view,the paper presented three different connection styles of inner metal wires.The paper also research deeply on vibration reduction principals in different power consumption in different conditions,through which the paper further got that relative density and pre-deformation are important factors having influence on vibration ability of metal rubber materials.3.The rms acceleration response approximate formula of metal rubber material is deduced based on linear random vibration theory,corporate with non-linear mechanical characteristic of metal rubber material.Pre-deformation and vibration scale influent on random vibration characteristic of metal rubber shock absorber also researched by conduction random vibration experimental.Finally,the experimental result was compared with theoretical result and where the errors come from and in which field the formula work was analyzed.4.According to the vibration characteristic of metal rubber material in sin-wave displacement loading and random vibration loading,a reliable and effective analyzing method was found and finite element analysis of the material was conducted.Finally,the simulation result with result on other papers was compared.By using finite element simulation result that vibration characteristic of metal rubber material was could well predicted and evaluated.
