Numerical simulation technology is an emerging field in recent years.With the development of computer technology,numerical simulation technology has become an important method to complete movement and performance prediction for ships in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering.With so many outstanding advantages,such as low-cost,no scale effect and obtaining accurate movement information within a short time,numerical simulation technology will play an increasingly important role in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering.As a new launching method in recent years,air-launch AUV into the water has strong adaptability,short time-consuming and other characteristics.With increasing attention of many countries on the naval field,this kind of launching method will become a research focus.Based on CFD numerical simulation technology,in this paper the writer studied situation of whole AUV launching into the water,and also analyzed responses of AUV in the water under different initial states.The following work has been completed in this paper:1.Discussed about selecting mathematical models in the simulation process,analyzed the influence of various parameters of control equations,studied the calculation method of flow field on the basic of overset mesh technology,analyzed the establishment of interpolation equations.2.The writer predict the resistance performance of AUV by using overset mesh method,and compared it with the experimental values,validated the accuracy of overset mesh method for prediction the resistance performance of AUV.3.Used the same method to simulate process into the water of small balls of different densities,and compared them with corresponding experimental results or literature,verified the effectiveness of this numerical simulation method for moving state calculation into the water.4.Used the same method to simulate response system of AUV in the water under different initial states,analyzed the influence of speed into the water,angle into the water,distribution of gravity center,line type of bow and other parameters on the process into the water,and developed more suitable AUV parameters for air-launch.This paper provides technical foundation for the research of air-launch type AUV design optimization in the latter stage.
