Power equipment is the key factor of power grid whose fault level is significant to the security,reliability and economical efficiency of power system.For a long time,power equipment fault informations storaged at different place,the fault analysis rely on some fixed experiences.With the development of power grid,there is absolutely a need for advanced technology including data integration system and data analysis tools.We could achieve more efficient use of information resources and do better research on data mining base on the power equipment fault information data warehouse,some regulars and conclusions will be significant to make polices of electric power production.Account of this,the paper mainly completed the following work.Firstly,the paper refresh the falut informations of power equipment based on the characteristics and physical demand of power system,and develop a data warehouse with snowflake model including five basic database and two applications.The relationship and the key factor of different database is discussed,and the OLAP technology is used to analysis the characteristics and regulars of the fault informations of power system.Secondly,we introduce the basic mehod which concentrate on fault analysis of power equipment called "Three-ratio-method",in terms of the disadvantage of traditional method,we develop a fault analyze model based on Bayesian net work,whose child nodes are twelve groups of characteristic gases and six fault types make up the father node.Example analysis show that,the model we presented make a better performance than the traditional method.In the meantime,the model have a significant meaning for research and application.Finally,a system including data layer,interface layer,application layer and user layer,the code is packaged in graphical uesrinterface,and the system could be used for either data storage and management or to run applications to achieve the fault level of power equipment.
