With hydropower generating capacity and size of the project of growing giant,The stability of unit operation is related to the safety and economic production of hydropower station.It is unavoidable that hydropower unit failure occurs during operation,However,the traditional planned maintenance has the phenomenon of excessive maintenance or insufficient maintenance.and so,In order to improve the pertinence and correctness of the unit fault diagnosis,It is an inevitable trend to study the vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis of hydroelectric generating units.Firstly,this paper introduces the structure and working principle of the hydroelectric generating units,In view of the complexity and diversity of the vibration of hydroelectric generating set,Respectively from the three aspects of the hydraulic,mechanical,electromagnetic research and give the corresponding diagnostic measures.It focuses on the design of the signal acquisition system,Including the monitoring point layout,the principle of sensor selection,the principle of the collection system and each part.Then the collected data are processed by signal noise separation,The wavelet packet is proposed to obtain a wavelet basis function,To obtain a more effective signal with vibration fault characteristics.As All parts of the unit has a certain logic relationship in the structure,we can establish the fault tree.For the failure probability of each component of the unit is difficult to obtain,In the fault tree analysis,Standard probability distribution model by The failure distribution curves of the bottom events are obtained from several major repairs to determine the probability of occurrence of bottom events.Fault tree was established and its qualitative and quantitative analysis were carried out.It has been an importance of each event.Finally,the system can be applied to the 5# unit of Xiluodu hydropower Station,Site-related stability test,the unit recorded in the conditions of vibration parameters and changing trends and analyzes the results of vibration monitoring,It is proved that the system has good feasibility and reliability.This paper implements the signal acquisition and processing,vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis.So that the system can be applied in practice,it is conducive to unit maintenance.
