At present,as a main marine propulsion device,the gas turbine has been widely used in many countries.The introduction of gas turbine with Inter-Cooling or Inter-Cooled is playing a more and more important role in the increase of the specific work.As a result,the importance of gas turbine with Inter-Cooling or Inter-Cooled is more and more obvious.In the Inter-Cooling cycle and Inter-Cooled regenerated cycle,the performance of the inter cooler will have a direct effect on the total performance of gas turbine,thus the research on the inter cooler is of great importance.In order to optimize the flow of the inter cooler,as well as the maintenance of inter cooler heat exchange efficiency and minimizing of the total pressure loss of intercooler,numerical simulation of the gas turbine intercooler for a certain type of ship is implemented in this paper.Through the modeling and meshing of indirect cooler in ICEM,mesh with high quality is generated and imported into the CFX for further numerical simulation.The numerical simulation is carried out with four different installation angles of the guide plate,and the uniformity of the internal flow field in indirect cooler model,as well as the resistance,is studied.Then the optimal layout can be obtained.What is more,through the simulation,the resistance characteristics and the flow field structure of each position for the optimal scheme is obtained.Further more,the total pressure loss distribution of the inter cooler model is analyzed.To validate the simulation results,based on the optimal scheme,the intercooler pneumatic test design is carried out.In view of intercooler's scheme and current laboratory conditions,machining and assembling drawings of the intercooler are made,and a test bench is built.The design of intercooler pneumatic performance test bench,the structure of the test bench,the choice of the structure equipments,the design parameters and machining process are shown in detail in this paper.The relations between resistance and flow intercooler is measured in the Intercooler pneumatic test.The result shows that the relations between resistance and flow meet the basic two polynomial law.The flow resistance characteristic curve and flow resistance coefficients of the intercooler model are also given.The comparison between simulation and experimental results shows that the error is so small that the credibility is high enough.In the intercooler pneumatic performance test,the five hole probe and LDV methods are used.Based on the above methods,the flow field of different positions is measured,and the velocity and pressure distribution of each position in the intercooler model are obtained.
