Machine vision recognition technology with high efficiency,precision large,non-contact and on-line real-time features in engineering practice.These features not only the degree of flexibility and automation to optimize production of a significant role,and is the basis for non-labor integration of modern manufacturing technology.Based on the study of machine vision in the application of modern production line,the deeper analysis of the machine vision technology in the steel plate recognition shipyard production line,inadequate recognition accuracy for widespread use of human identification stage shipyard steel model caused Recognition fast enough and so on,designed shipyard steel line identification and statistical systems based on machine vision.This paper machine vision,image parallel processing,pattern recognition technology,combined with the actual needs of the shipyard site to complete the overall system design and CCD camera,selection CCD camera,light source and the photoelectric switches and other hardware devices.Insufficient for image transmission speed,image distortion problem,design a high-speed real-time image capture and transmission system based on FPGA,using its completion,the camera and PC communications.In Visual C ++ 6.0 environment,combined with the open-source image processing library OpenCV,by median filtering,mathematical morphology,edge detection,thresholding algorithms to extract feature information steel,and the rear edge of the extracted image will be template matching to identify the specific models steel shipyard.Finally,the establishment of a Access database,the database can count through the transmission line steel model,the number and time,and then identified the Model classification to print out the form,to achieve automatic identification plate line production line,count the number,and automatic classification.The identification system to achieve extraction of the steel production process characteristics of the information necessary to improve the efficiency of steel shipyard identify and overcome manual identification and manual classification brings all the disadvantages of machine vision in applications shipyard steel production line with a important practical significance.
