Research On Performance Evaluation System Of Construction Contractor

In recent years,the relationship between employers and contractors is becoming mature with steady growth of construction industry.How to scientifically evaluate and improve the performance level of a construction contractor is becoming a common theme of the construction market.Especially for engineering management companies,the establishment of a scientific and feasible performance evaluation system of construction contractor is in urgent need with continuous expansion of construction projects.Firstly,from research on the relevant literature and present conditions,this dissertation established the performance evaluation system of construction contractor based on the perspective of an engineering management company(Company N).Indexes of contractor evaluation are identified through the literature screening and questionnaire investigation on staff of Company N.According to the investigation on the statistical analysis of scores and the mutual importance of different indexes,the index system of contractor performance evaluation is established.Secondly,according to the investigation on present conditions of Company N and with the existing research results,the implementation plan of contractor performance evaluation is proposed.Thirdly,the Contractor Evaluation Linkage Model is established based on Grey Relational Analysis.The application scheme of evaluation results is proposed in both of performance and procurement process.Finally,based on the realistic data,the performance level of the contractor is assessed and linkage of different indexes is discovered with application of the performance evaluation system.Through the feedback of site survey,the validity of the model is verified.In this dissertation,the performance evaluation system of construction contractor is systematically studied from the aspects of index system,implementation plan and application of results.The conclusion of this research provides reference and solutions for engineering management enterprises to establish their own performance evaluation system of construction contractor,with which the performance level of construction contractors and the management level of engineering construction are both improved.
