With the rapid development of economy in China,living standard of farmers is improving;meanwhile,people's the quality of life and living environment are getting higher and higher in rural areas.However,most of the rural residential buildings in China lack reasonable planning and energy-saving design at the beginning of construction,which leads to the rapid increase of energy use in rural areas with the increase of residential energy demand.Therefore,in order to reduce energy use of rural residential buildings and improve the indoor thermal comfort degree in hot summer and warm winter climate,this article studied the relationships between shape parameters,envelope parameters,shading system parameters,patio parameters and building energy use and indoor comfort in rural area of Quanzhou.Finally,the parameters were comprehensively optimized by PSO algorithm.The results of this article can be used to guide the design and construction of rural residential buildings.Firstly,based on the survey results about the architectural characteristics and energy use status of typical rural residential buildings in Quanzhou,the energy use models were established by using Energy Plus energy simulation software.Then,using control variable method,the relationships between the shape of the building plane,building depth,building length,building aspect ratio,the area ratio of exterior window to floor,external wall insulation material type,wall insulation thickness,roof insulation material type,roof insulation thickness,the heat transfer coefficient and solar heat gain coefficient of external window,the shading forms in different directions,length of the visor,distance between the visor and window,extended length of the visor,different patio conditions and building energy use and indoor comfort were respectively analyzed using parameter operation algorithm in GenOpt.Finally,coupled with GenOpt optimization software and Energy Plus simulation software,the classical PSO algorithm was applied to multidimensional comprehensive optimization of the various parameters to get an optimal construction,and then a simple economic analysis of the optimized building was conducted.
