With the development of China's economy,the living standard for residents in the rural and pastoral area is improving and the living space per capita is increasing.However,the residential construction in the rural and pastoral area remains an individual behavior of farmers and pastoralists.The incomplete basic design standard,low design and construction level without insulation treatment for most buildings,poor thermal properties and air impermeability of external doors and windows,simple heating equipment with low thermal efficiency and poor indoor thermal environment results in rapid increase in energy consumption.The previous energy-saving construction research focus more on qualitative analysis than quantitative research.Therefore,promoting energy-saving construction and doing theoretical energy consumption research on residential construction in Inner Mongolia while satisfying the comfortable temperature is of great significance.The paper takes the residential buildings in Inner Mongolia rural and pastoral areas as its object of study.By means of survey and field measurement,typical samples are obtained.Based on the Construction Information Modelling Software Revit and energy consumption simulation software DesignBuilder,Combined with the annual hourly meteorological data provided by Chinese Standard Weather Database(CSWD),calculation models of energy consumption are established.By simulating the thermal consumption values of the continuous heating model and four intermittent heating during the heating period,it comes to a conclusion that the heat consumption for continuous heating is less than that of intermittent heating,so it takes the advantage of reducing the heat consumption.Secondly it analyses the heat consumption of rural residential buildings of the same bottom area of foundation with different plane composition and height,calculates and analyses the relation between different building shape parameters(depth,width,window wall ratio,etc.)and envelope parameters(external wall,roof,ground,doors and windows)and building energy consumption.It makes the simulation computation and argumentation of the recommendation value and limit value in the new Edition's Energy Saving Design Standard for Residential Buildings in Rural and Pastoral Areas(DBJ/T 03-78-2017).In conclusion,this study gives up the simple research model of "how to do" and combines "how to do" with "energy consumption" to explore the reconstruction and design of residential buildings in rural pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia and provide reference and theoretical bases for new residential buildings and energy-saving reconstruction of the existing buildings in rural and pastoral areas.
