Wheel-side electric drive technology has continuouslyvariable transmission of speed,and can react to any radius steering,it is easy to implement modularity,keep silent while running between short distant.what's more,it is quite convenient to regenerate the feedback braking power.This technology is an important guarantee to solve energy security of the combat vehicles during wartime and provide electronic power weapons,also,it is an efficient way to improve the utilization,mobility and intelligent of the military vehicles.Depend on the requirements and the characteristics of the specialized vehicles,a research on AC induction motor based integrated wheel drive technology is carried out,in order to achieve miniaturization and the modularity design of this drive system.Firstly,the basic principle of Wheel-side drive is proposed,and mathematical model of the drive system is established.Then,the scheme of wheel-side drive based on asynchronous motor is put forward.Moreover,the principle and application of chaotic SVPWM technologies is introduced,aiming at improving the characteristics of the EMC(electromagnetic compatibility)of the integrated Wheel-side drive system,which can reduce the volume of the filter.The simulationof the system is carried out to validate the effectiveness and superiority of chaotic SVPWM.To reduce the size and weight of this driver,the thermal design this integrated Wheel-side driver is described in this paper,by analyzing of the power module loss calculation method based on conventional PWM,designed calculation a method of loss calculation method based on chaotic SVPWM is proposed,then Cooling design and its optimization are done through Icepeak.Finally,the software and the hardware of drive system are designed and the results of some related experiments of this system verify the rationality and effectiveness of the design of the entire system.
