As a kind of rapid prototyping technology,Fused Deposition Modeling is developing rapidly in recent years.FDM is widely used in mold manufacturing,product design,medical and other fields.With the deepening research of rapid prototyping technology,FDM technology will be more mature in the future.However,the printing speed and precision also restricts the spread and marketization of the type of FDM printer.Aimed at improving the efficiency and precision of printing,the paper studies the adaptive slicing algorithm based on STL model and completes the secondary development of adaptive layered software.Based on the numerical simulation of temperature field and stress field,this paper proposes a variable speed printing strategy and concluded the change rule of the temperature field and stress field under different technological parameter.Firstly,the paper studies the adaptive layered principle based on STL model file.Adaptive layered is an alterable layer thickness method based on 3D surface feature,which can have both precision and efficiency compared with traditional fixed layered method.Designing the slicing algorithm and using C++ to finish the secondary development of adaptive layered software.In addition,the paper designed a contrast experiment,which proved the effectiveness and practicability of adaptive layered algorithm.Secondly,aiming at the problem of low print speed and winkle of model surface when printing small area,the paper studies the change rule of scanning speed,layer area and interval time under the optimal bonding temperature,and get the function relationship between the three parameter.Based on this research,the paper put forward a kind of variable speed printing strategy,which means that selecting higher print speed in large area and lower speed in small area.Variable speed printing can shorten the time and avoid the defects of wrinkle and collapse.The research can provide important reference for the secondary development of control software.Thirdly,the paper studies the change rule of temperature between layer thickness and filling gap and gets the influence rule of layer thickness and filling gap to temperature change.Comparing the simulation results of fully filling and gap filling,the paper get the differences of two filling way.Besides,the paper done the temperature acquisition experiments.The experiment verified that the correctness of the APDL simulation program by the comparison of experiments' data and ANSYS simulation data.Lastly,on the basis of the analysis of temperature field,the paper done stress field simulation of different scanning speed and layer thickness using thermal-stress coupling analysis function of ANSYS.The paper gets the influence rule of scanningspeed and layer thickness to stress field respectively,which provide an important reference to selecting reasonable technical parameters.
