A Comparative Study Of China And Foreign Theories And Design Approaches On Ecological Landscape

Environmental problem is global major issue in 21 century.As close to nature of the design field,it is urgent to take the concept of ecological landscape into landscape design.This paper is researched from two aspects: China and foreign theories and design approaches on ecological landscape.Firstly,clarify the environmental problem is caused by industrial production.Industrial development in promoting the progress of the times but also destroy the ecological environment.Artificial products are gradually swallowed the natural resources of the earth.The relationship between "Artificial" and "Nature" needs to be balanced by "Ecological Landscape".Secondly,determined the final thought form according to the development law of the theories on ecological landscape at all times and in all countries.Finally,through the inevitable course of theory to practice,form the thought form corresponding to design approaches.In the content of ecological landscape thought,by means of comparative study,summary of the China and foreign ecological landscape thought from the formation of the development and then to mature have experienced three stages of thinking: "Artificial" return to "Nature","Artificial" combined with "Nature","Artificial" transformation to "Natural".In conclusion,transformation "Artificial" to "Natural" ecological landscape is the best thought form of contemporary and future under the environment of the increasing of the artificial products."Ecological landscape of derelict land" is the most direct expression of the theory into practice,which fully proves the important significance about the ecological landscape design of derelict land.In the content of ecological landscape design approaches,taking three types of derelict land transformation as an example respectively: "Ecological Landscape of Brownfield","Ecological Landscape of Landfill","Ecological Landscape of Disaster Area".Analyzed the project background,design method and ecological principle of each case,comparative study of China and foreign differences and similarities of ecological landscape design approaches for different types of derelict land and analyze the reasons for the differences.Learn the outstanding cases of foreign countries.Clarify the significance and enlightenment to China about ecologicallandscape design of derelict land in the present and future,and improve the ecological landscape design in China.
