| With the rapid development of international trade,sea carriage is playing an important role as an important way of transportation.According to statistics,sea carriage has accounted for more than 2/3 of the total volume of international trade.Liner shipping transportation has gradually become the most important part of sea carriage,because of its own special advantages.With the gradual recovery of the global economy,the demand of the shipping market is gradually expanding,and the size of the liner shipping market is bound to become more and more big.The design of hub and spoke network of the liner shipping has always been the focus of decision-making for liner companies.Reasonable and scientific hub and spoke network of liner shipping can help companies reduce operation costs and increase ship loading rate.The uncertain demand between ports seriously affects the design of network.The optimization of hub and spoke network under certain demand can not meet the market fluctuation and make decisions wrong.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the optimization of the hub and spoke network design of liner shipping under the uncertain demand.In this paper,first,the model of the liner shipping hub and spoke network design problem with certain demand is established.A decision variable is introduced to restrict the requirements of network design.The goal of the model minimizes the total cost(transportation cost and transit costs).Secondly,Based on the deterministic model,considering the uncertain demand,the "budget of uncertainty" parameter is introduced to establish the robust optimization model of the liner shipping hub and spoke network design.Finally,an example is introduced to verify the rationality and scientificity of the model.In this paper,we use Lingo 11.0 software to solve the certain demand and single-stage robust optimization model respectively.The result indicates that the maximum deviation percentage for each demand becomes larger,the value of the objective function also increases;when the demand for a certain deviation,budget of uncertainty becomes larger,the price of robustness also increases.On the contrary,when the value of budget of uncertainty is smaller,the price of robustness slightly increases,and value of the objective function that is the total cost is also smaller.In the single-stage robust optimization model,although the total cost larger than the deterministic models,the solutions of the model are feasible. |
