With the rapid development of maritime trade,the number of ships at sea is increasing,and accidents between ships are becoming more and more.How to develop effective methods to reduce the frequency of accidents between ships has been a hot research in the field of ships.With the development of communication technology,it is possible to accomplish collision avoidance by communication between ships.Multi-agent system is a development and application of distributed artificial intelligence.It refers to the computer system in which some independent Agents work together through negotiation.Behavior characteristics and organizational characteristics of ship collision avoidance are basically the same as those of Multi-agent system.Therefore,based on the deep understanding of the theory of Multi-agent,a ship collision avoidance system based on Multi-agent is proposed,and a simulation platform is built and verified by simulation.Firstly,the theory of Multi-agent,including architecture,communication mechanism and construction method,is introduced,and the characteristics of Multi-agent system are compared with those of ship navigation.The feasibility of Multi-agent system in ship collision avoidance is analyzed.Secondly,the framework of ship collision avoidance system based on Multi-agent is designed based on ship collision avoidance.Ship_Agent,VTS_Agent,System_Agent and Union_Agent are established.Agent is introduced and object-oriented is used to describe Agent.Combining AIS to construct communication between Agents.Thirdly,ship Agent is modeled by ship collision avoidance theory,including ship Agent belief model,psychological model and collision avoidance decision model.The belief model is established by the decision model of ship collision situation and the projection of dynamic target collision avoidance parameters.The mental model is presented by risk model.The collision avoidance decision model is used to study the collision avoidance time opportunity.Finally,based on the S57 electronic chart,the simulation platform of the ship collision avoidance system based on Multi-agent is designed through the Visual Studio 2008 development tool,and the common situation of several encounters and the situation of multiple ships are simulated.
