Study Of Landscape Design Of Chinese Characteristic Towns

In March 2016,the Outline for the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China sounded the clarion call for the construction of characteristic towns(cities).In just over a year,the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has published the list of the first two groups of characteristic towns(cities),which shows the determination of the Chinese government to develop characteristic towns.Not only has such an action brought many characteristic towns new opportunities,it also has put forward higher requirements to these characteristic towns.However,a lot of small towns are following the tendency blindly.Instead of understanding the meaning of characteristic towns,they blindly pursue benefits from policies;Instead of carefully considering the design of the architectural landscape,they chase the same line without any exploration of their own characteristics,ignoring the local customs and regional characteristics.This dissertation mainly takes the landscape design method of the characteristic town as the research direction.We use Literature search method,case analysis method,Field research method.Through the research on domestic and foreign characteristic towns and the materials of landscape design,we analyze the the design ideas and methods of representative cases in detail.Combining it with its industrial support,cultural tourism development and other aspects,we explore the development direction of landscape design of Chinese characteristic towns.By studying the project Zhonghua.Ming Flower Valley in Chashanao town of Hengyang city,we reach the following conclusions of landscape design of Chinese characteristic towns:The landscape design should be based on the original ecology with the strategy of energy-efficiency and environmental protection.The ultimate goal is to establish a more efficient ecological system with a better combination of landscape and cultural tourism.A clear style orientation should be made which requires a deep excavation of the region culture and a fine inheritance of humanities history.Besides,a new design methodplays an important role in giving a new life to the original cultural theme.Only in this way can we form a market differentiation to enhance the brand images and get a better market reaction.A complete design idea is required.Embarking from the overall situation,designers should also seek the individual changes to make sure that every scenic spot,every commercial district,every building and every street are in the same design concept with their own characteristics.With the scientific design principle,the landscape project will become a business sign of the characteristic town.Humanized details should be taken into consideration.Each detail cannot be ignored.The goal is to make everyone who is in it feel comfortable,safe,convenient and really enjoy every landscape,every building.
