With the improvement of people's living standards,more and more waterfront tourism towns have been developed,and their unique ecological resources are sought after by tourists and developers.In the case of domestic waterfront space development,a large number of choices are far-reaching landscape waters,lacking of multi-level hydrophilic activities,making the relationship between the site and the water body weak,and the fluctuation of the seasonal water level.Conservation and use are mostly explorations of the landscape,focusing on restoring protection rather than for human use.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the reutilization of the hydro-fluctuating zone,which is caused by the change of seasonal water level.A set of design methods for seasonal waterfront space transformation was concluded through domestic and international case studies,data access,and field research,which laid the theoretical foundation for subsequent design projects.The paper is mainly divided into the following sections:(1)This paper mainly introduces the background and purpose of the design,identifies the research objects and summarizes the research status of waterfront space flood control.A preliminary profile analysis of the design project,including site conditions and project positioning.And put forward the problems faced by the design for the site conditions.(2)Centering on the design factors of the waterfront space under the change of seasonal water level,it is divided into natural ecological elements,waterfront site elements,hydrophilicity as the active element,waterfront architecture,sketch elements,and use materials.Each area conducts special research,sums up domestic and international relevant cases and explorations,and concludes a set of waterfront space design methods based on the fact that water is subject to large variations in elevation.(3)Interpretation of the design plan.Apply the design method of seasonal waterfront space design elements to project design.Starting from the urban design level,then is the waterfront site planned,and exploratory design of the content of the hydrophilic activity,design of revetment,architecture,sketches,and material use is carried out.
