At present, waterfront recreation space , which is closely related to the quality of life gradually being taken seriously, waterfront recreation becomes a way of life which grows hot, and gradually integrats into people's lives. With the arrival of the experience economy, people are no longer satisfied with recreation-type recreational tourism in the past, but enjoy this process of recreation experience based on a deep understanding of deep-level emotional communication in the local culture and natural environment. So the recreation experience-oriented recreational development has been attracted wide attention, and Chaohu Lake has become the ideal place for experiential recreation development with the unique characteristics of local culture and good ecological environment.The development of Waterfront recreation planning has been decisided by the physical resources, recreation market and intangible cultural content. With the rapid economic development and the fast urbanization, some problems appears in Chaohu Lake area, such as weak integration of recreation resources,the low-level recreation planning, the human and others. This leads Chaohu Lake economy to being limited and developmental delay.The main reason is lack of effective integration of recreation resources and attention of recreation experience in the process of planning and development, which leads o the development of its low quality. Therefore, the key of the study is on grasping the characteristics of local recreation resources, recreational market characteristics and the comprehensive analysis of current problems.The mian method of the study is by virtue of recreation experience to guide the planning and development of waterfront recreation in Chaohu Lake area. With the further think of problem about Waterfront recreation in Chaohu Lake area ,and on the basis of existing planning puts new requirements to the Chaohu lake waterfront recreation and positioning experiential market.the paper takes recreation experience as an entry point, proposing"the overall"planning of the development plan under Problem-based measures and"the typical node"planning development model. Then above of planning and development strategy and the proposed model are used in Chaohu Lake waterfront recreation area with the "overall level" and "typical node level" specific practice. On "Overall level", the Planning Strategy is used in Recreation resources market integration, experiential pattern of recreation planning, experiential recreation support system construction, and project planning experience, product design and so on;On "the typical node level", it is demonstrated by the five of the proposed development model.
