Reciprocal frame structure is gradually becoming a research hotspot,and many scholars are trying to use the technique of computer-aided design to handle the form generation problems of the reciprocal frame structure.There are some researches that have realized the generation of the reciprocal frame structure,however,these methods still have some problems in terms of accuracy or computing complexity.In this paper,to achieve the parameterized control of generation of reciprocal frame structures,a new form-finding method for the reciprocal frame structure has been introduced.This paper mainly consists of five chapters:The first chapter introduces the origin,object,goal and significance of the study.The second chapter introduces the origin and some researches of reciprocal frame structure in history,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of some existing methods on the form-finding of reciprocal frame structure.The third chapter is the core part of this paper,and explains the basic process and main algorithm of generating the reciprocal frame structure in detail.The fourth chapter introduces the related knowledge about the software platform and programming language,as well as the specific operation process,and also shows the process and results of the generation of reciprocal frame structure with different input parameters.The fifth chapter summarizes the whole study and puts forward some suggestions for possible improvements.The main results are as follows:1:Sort out the history of the study on the reciprocal frame structure,put forward a kind of generation algorithm for the reciprocal frame structure innovatively.2:Complete the development of the system for generating 3D model of the reciprocal frame structure form the input grid on Rhino + Grasshopper.
