With the in-depth development of the war under the information background,the combat style has changed from the single firepower confrontation to the integrated joint operations of the various armed forces.In the complex combat system,the battlefield data growth in the style of "explosion",the variety of factors and the large amount of information in the battlefield are changing rapidly.In the complex battle system,the relationship between battlefield situation elements and battlefield operations is more complex and changeable,which makes it more difficult to recognize the battlefield situation quickly and accurately.Therefore,it is necessary to study the standardized and formalized description of the multiple battlefield data based on Semantics However,in the current research on battlefield situation cognition,there are few methods for formalizing the data sample space for complex battlefield.A reasonable and effective description of battlefield data sample space is a prerequisite for commanding decision-makers to understand the battlefield situation.In order to solve the problems of mutual independence of each system and the disunity of the description format of the combat information,and to improve the understanding speed of the situation in the complex battle system,this paper first discusses the development history and research status of the formal description and situation cognition.Then summarizes the basic concepts,construction principles and construction methods of ontology and analyzes the semantic Web.Next,the paper introduces the composition of battlefield data sample space,classifies the elements of the battlefield situation,and analyzes the combat mission in the complex battlefield.Then we formalized the battlefield situation elements and combat mission respectively.During the formalization description of situation elements,the body composition and construction methods of the battlefield situation elements are introduced.Besides,the ontology model of the battlefield situation elements is established,and the elements of battlefield situation are stratified,classified and attributed separately,and the various situation elements are formally described with the OWL language.During the formalization description of battlefield combat mission,the concept ontology model of combat mission is established,the operational task is formatted first and the operational task is formally described based on the XML language.Finally,taking the specific mission-oriented battlefield scenario as an example,this paper describes the combat mission in the scenario and extracts the situation elements of the land battlefield on different mission phases.Based on a virtual land battlefield,the formal description framework is used to generate data samples.The formal description and sample generation of the battlefield data sample space provide a solution to solve the problem that the task description is not uniform,the semantic definition of information is inconsistent,and the mutual access to each other cannot be solved.
