With the continuous development of China's rail transport industry,the railway maintenance technology industry is also have a great progressing.Rail grinding,as the most basic means of railway maintenance,is widely used in various of working conditions.The small rail grinding machine is widely used because of its small size,simple operation and high efficiency.The traditional rail grinding machine have great weight,with grinding head frame and the support frame are fixed together,workers in the rail grinding side,required the grinding machine to flip,flip the machine and controlling the amount of feed for frequent grinding workers greatly increased labor intensity.Therefore,it is necessary to design a steel rail profiling machine with lighter weight and higher grinding efficiency.In view of the new type grinding machine,this paper mainly studies the following parts:(1)Structure,the rod type structure design of grinding wheel rack,instead of the traditional frame structure,the machine has a lower in weight;separation design of grinding head frame part and a gasoline engine,gasoline engine fixed,workers simply flip the frame which can be compared with grinding head,rotary profiling grinding machine.Greatly reduces the amount of work;the pressure spring to control the grinding wheel feed,workers in copying abrosive,do not require frequent operation of rigid screw,and automatic control by the pressure spring.Compared with the rigid control,the pressure spring control improves the efficiency of the feed control of the grinding wheel.(2)Motion simulation is carried out on the whole machine to simulate copying and grinding movement and feed control grinding movement.The feasibility of the two kinds of motion is verified by copying the curve angle displacement curve,the linear bearing and the flange spacing curve,respectively.(3)The frame part of the new type grinding machine is changed from the original frame type to the rod type,the quality of the whole machine is reduced,but the strength is also reduced.In this paper,the finite element simulation analysis of the frame part is carried out to verify the rationality of the rod frame design under static and dynamic conditions.(4)The initial design of the new grinding machine grinding head frame adopts the experience method,and the structure size is not standard.SolidWorks is used to optimize the size of the profile bending part and the straight bearing bearing block.Through theiteration of multiple finite element iterations in the example,we get the optimal size solution.(5)The relationship between grinding force and grinding wheel life is derived,the pressure spring control feed and two cases for control of rigid feed motion simulation using SolidWorks,simulation results show the corresponding grinding force and time curve,combined with the relationship between grinding force and grinding wheel life,verified by the pressure spring to control the feed,relatively rigid control of grinding wheel,long service life.
