The connecting rod bushing is one of the main friction pair components in the diesel engine.The bushing mainly plays the role of transmitting force and the friction and wear of the small head of the protection connecting rod in the operating condition.The connecting rod bushing is subject to the gas explosion pressure in the cylinder.Compression and reciprocating inertial forces are coupled to each other in tension,causing the connecting rod bushes to undergo severely alternating stress conditions,complicated working conditions,and severe high temperature working environments to the structural strength,load carrying capacity,stiffness,and structure of the connecting rod bushings.There are high requirements for performance such as strength reliability.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical application value to analyze the structural strength reliability of the connecting rod bushing under interference fit.In this paper,the strength reliability analysis of the connecting rod bushing of the diesel engine under interference fit is mainly studied.The dynamic theory of crank connecting rod mechanism and the numerical simulation method are combined to analyze the following aspects: First,the value of the range of interference In this paper,the knowledge of the dynamics of the crank linkage is used in this paper.Through the force analysis,the value of the combined pressure range between the connecting rod bushings is required to transmit the load torque;secondly,based on the ANSYS finite element platform,the connecting rods with different interferences are used.The bushings are simulated and analyzed to obtain the combined pressure values under different interference amounts,and the range values of the interferences obtained by the theoretical calculations are compared.At the same time,whether or not the bushings with different interference amounts meet the strength requirements are determined at the time of the detonation pressure to determine the amount of interference.The value of the range is used to analyze the distribution law of the equivalent pressure of the bush at the time of the explosion pressure,which provides a numerical simulation method for the study of the value of the interference of the connecting rod bushing.Finally,the PDS(Probabilistic Design System)module of the ANSYS finite element structural strength reliability analysis studies the reliability or failure probability of the structural strength of the bushing under the mechanical load conditions of the connecting rod bushing,and analyzes the bushing random input variable(geometry).The sensitivity of the size,load,and material properties to the structural strength provides a numerical illustration of the reliability of the connecting rod bushing.The simulation study on the strength reliability of the diesel engine connecting rod bushing under interference fit has solved the problem through finite element simulation.The finite element method and theoretical analysis are used to analyze the structural strength and reliability of the connecting rod bushing under interference fit.The main factors affecting the strength sensitivity of the connecting rod bushing are found out from the simulation results,and the connecting rod bushing structure is appropriately changed.Raise the structural strength of the connecting rod bushings.
